LEAVE RULES OF THE PLACE

1.         Leave is NEITHER your RIGHT nor NECESSITY, it’s a FAVOUR and a big one !!!.

2.         The Leave Plan is just a GUIDELINE, not something you can book your tickets.

3.         Leave Granting schedule:-

            Jan-Feb         -           No leave will be granted because the C in C MIGHT visit.

            Mar-Apr         -           No leave will be granted because DASI might come and AEB                                                      comes in May.

May-Jun       -            No leave to Bachelors, Officers without Kids, Officers with kids     who don’t go to school.

            Jul- Sept       -           All officers to TAKE( even if you don’t want) leave and finish it.

           Oct-Nov        -           No leave to Bachelors, Officers without Kids, Officers with kids  who don’t go to school.

            Dec                 -           No leave because its year end and reasons to be asked.

4.         You are authorized for CASUAL leave of 20 days. This is not a MYTH. (you can  avail it).

5.         Getting 30 days annual leave in one go is a FANTASY.

6.         Getting 60 days annual leave in a year is the theme of Mission Impossible –V.

7.         You might be flying number of hours lesser than the fingers of your one hand in a month throughout the year, but your flying is planned to be STEPPED UP only during the period of your Leave.

8.         If you fail once, keep put up the application again. If still no joy the SMC is in Sion now.

9.         25% of us can be on leave at a time. Its actually the % you are gonna get leave in a year.

10.       And yes the working hours are from 0715- 1430(on mon, wed, fri) and 0715-1730(tue, thurs), so ask before you LEAVE !!!.
